Facebook issues

Facebook, tonight is making me feel like a mental patient. I update my status, or comment on something else, I refresh, and it's like I never did it. So I re-enter what I had to say, and then I have a double post. Sorry to bring up a facebook issue

Is it just me?

BTW, I have tried a re-install, with no joy.
 
Yup, facebook has been ghay for a couple of weeks now for some reason, ive had the same problems today as you have.
 
they seem to be having a lot of problems at the moment e.g. chat not working, notifications coming through several times.
one of my friend's picture and name completely disappeared yesterday :confused:
 
I'm glad you've tried reinstalling FaceBook, as I was about to suggest you do just that.

Mine has been fine, but all I've done is spammed a few peoples walls with silly youtube vids! :o

I do that on a daily basis, but I found that it isn't as good as a fresh install.
 
I don't think they can cope with the volume of users. They've released a thin version of FB for people with 'slow connections'

Perhaps they should sort their infrastructure out before blaming the users broadband!

It's been telling me I have an unread email for over 3 days, yet I read it within 5 minutes of receiving it!

I think when it comes down to it, this is the issue, do they not claim that they have 250m users, which is the same population as the United States.

I for one, welcome our new(not exactly new, and I'm sure google would have something to say) facebook overlords
 
Yea, chat was screwing around for me the other day, notifications just not appearing, despite getting the email about them, people commenting on stuff but it disappearing then magically reappearing, all in all, very annoying

Surely the point of the new Facebook lite is for those who live in countries where broadband is not the norm rather than as some sort of excuse for problems they are having.

This is half true, the went back on themselves, when they though that they could claim copyright over all photos posted. The Only bad thing about facebook is he apps, which, when they appear only my page, I hit 'hide said application'

I would happily use facebook lite. It grates me that they called it facebook lite, but it's better than wading through crap.

You know what I hate, I get a notification, and I get all excited, but then, you realise it's someone that has tagged you as a capricorn (insert your star sign here)
