Facebook question (no don't judge yet..)

I have a whole list of notifications in my profile, like Vampire stuff and Aquarium things etc from friends/family.. I have NO interest in all of this stuff, I just use Facebook once a week to update my current health situation so friends/family across the globe can keep up-to-date.

You can ignore all of these requests to "check your Sexeh rating" and so forth but does the originator get notified that you have ignored it? I keep just ignoring all of this stuff but now I'm wondering if I'm looking like a git for not taking more of an interest in these things?

Carry on chaps, if you want to hit your "but Facebook is so meh" button then go for your life.. I just use it for how it was originally intended.

It was posted in another facebook applications thread about how to permanently stop and applications from being sent to you by other friends, but i don't have a clue how. Im sure someone will come in here and explain.

Hmm, that'd be cool if there were a way of blocking these fricking' requests.. I await with hope.
 
I dont think there is a way to stop them no, and for what its worth I ignore 99% of them too, and no ones asked me yet why I ignored it. The problem happens when someone else accepts someones request to become a vampire or whatever, and then theres a button that says invite all your friends for this to work, its actually a con, cos usually if you scroll down you can click on skip this (as in dont invite my friends) and still install the vampire or whatever thing yourself. Hope that makes sense, im off to delete the 27 invites ive received overnight! :rolleyes:
 
Search for "Block Facebook Spam" in groups, tells you there.

Don't think it tells them if you have ignored it, and if it does, just tell them because it's ****ing pointless and there to amuse people with nothing better to do. Like them.
 
no, it doesn't tell them - though, on the other hand, they may be sad enough to keep note of whom them invited, and which of those now has the SEXEH STRIPPA NAME app
 
I accepted a bunch of those werewolf/hunter etc invites first week i had it, need to delete them now :o

Also actually need to do my profile with activities etc :/
 
Heh it wont tell them uve pressed the ignore button

the problem with those vampire ones is you get points for inviting ppl, so they keep spamming their friends list to try and get everyone to join

ps. My stripper name is: Dynamo Steelrail, how can u not like that! :D
 
before you ignore the notification, go through to the application and click the block button - you won't receive anything from that app again. pretty annoying, but the only way as far as I know
