Urgh, it's things like that that make me embarrassed to be a part of the human race, let alone be a facebook user.

That sort of thing is for PRIVATE CHAT. That's what we used to use MSN for before facebook fooled everyone into thinking it's redundant. Why people feel the need to publicise their private conversations in such a way I will never fully understand. I get the fact that it's most likely just "Hey look I'm having a conversation GO ME!", but I'd like to think people aren't that sad

1000000%, I absolutely hate people having a conversation with someone on a status or what ever. I've deleted people on there because I've seen them put a status and then 15 minutes later it has like 20 comments, look at it and oh they've been having a conversation with some one on it...
