^+1. Mindustry is good, though not much too it IIRC. I also think it's available on Android/iOS too.

I managed to get to wave 1000 on one of the harder maps. It took something like 70 hours to do and I thought I did quite well until I saw someone getting to wave 10,000 on Youtube.

It's certainly an addictive game, an eater of time (useful in a lockdown) and apparently there's a huge update (version 6) coming in a few days, so I'll definitely be checking that out.

Edit: Just started Steam after typing that and version 6 has now been released.

Rimworld and its wide array of mods will keep you busy. I don't have the dlc and its not really, really needed.

Not when you have mods that add spaceships, clone factories, genetic abominations, nuclear reactors and the ability to transplant the mind of a toddler into a monster from Amnesia [I think, hell there are other monsters in case that doesn't work].
