FahMon 2.2.1

At the risk of sounding boring - Thanks Uncle Fungus:) Glad I waiting until this morning to avoid the potential prob.
Have installed & it works!
I point In EE via VMware the indicator always stay orange for me - any theories why? {win version goes green OK]

Code:

cd path/to/fahmon/src
scons -c
scons

My folder is FahMon & without the correct use of the capitals the code doesn't work!

Thanks for those who are helping my grope my way slowly towards Linux Ubuntu enlightenment, allthough m,ost of the time I feel like I'm lost in a London Peculiar [Sherlock Holmes reference in case you think I've lost the plot:).

Good point, I have never seen mine go green in Linux!

Code:
cd path/to/fahmon/[b]src[/b]
scons -c
scons

Yes that is true, however most people know what the folder is called after they have just decompressed it, and they also know Linux is case sensitive :D

OK just installed this bad boy and it's looking good.

Just as an aside your instructions should be:

Code:
cd path/to/fahmon/[b]src[/b]
scons -c
scons

For the sake of those people who may not engage mr brain. Like me. :D :o

Edited ;)

Try enabling the "ignore asynchronous clocks" option, and see if the offending clients turn blue (you'll have to manually reload them via the reload all menu item). If they do, that's your problem: the clocks aren't synchronized between the machines, so 1 is ahead of the other, confusing the state detection system.

Yes, it turned a pretty bloo colour!

I am going to assume this isn't a bad thing since my client appears to be running just fine regardless.

Well 2.2.1a looks okay on my laptop but it doesn't have much to monitor. I may pop it onto the school server tonight and ertainly onto my home system when I get home tomorrow. I look forward to seeing the improved benchmarks as those for 2610 are completely borked.

Nice update uncle_fungus. The new PPD options are great. :)

Only problem I have is when I RDP to my PC FahMon crashes everytime. If I restart FahMon it runs fine until I log back in locally and then it crashes again.

Yes, it's a known bug with an unknown cause at the moment. RDP sessions and VNC sessions seem to kill FahMon when the session closes (but it leaves the icon in the system tray until you try and click on it).
