Wish i was in a Ramen Shop Counter
I've only played for about an hour in so far. Just got rid of the police officer checking my apartment and man is it good ! Took me about 5 goes to get out of the toilet ! This game is like i am in my own movie, i know the outcome are fixed to a few probablities but everytime i find something i feel my heart is in my mouth. On top of that there is a feeling of a real time element going on, you can't hang around looking at stuff.

p.s. I remember there was a thread on this game but it's been purged.

is this related to a game called Indigo Prophecy.. because on the Gamespot games of the year it showed Indigo Prophecy and it looked EXACTLY the same as Farenheit.. any reason why? it had the whole toilet scene with the candles etc..

It is the same game, just they changed the name for the US... for some silly reason or another.

Told you it was a good game :D
Seriously good game, yeah it can be linear but I enjoyed the movie experience it brought. Couldn't put it down till I'd finished it.
The end even somehow made me feel emotionally attached after going through so much 'with' them :o

One of the best original RPG's I've played in ages. The game really doesn't let you choose the path of your character via decisions, but it disguises this instead. Still an extremely good game though, apart from the simon says bits :/

there is a bit at the end that apparently no americans are old enough to see, so they changed that and the name with it, thats why it Indigo Prophecy in the US.

Downloading the Demo now. I've never really gamed before but downloading the FEAR and Max Payne 2 demos' today. I really want them both. In fact, I have FEAR in the post already :D

Phil.

It's an 'interesting' game, I'll give it that. Gameplay is quite unique and good, very point-and-click style. The plot really lets it down though. Promising start, ropey middle, and a nonsensical end. It just got far too fantastical as it went on for my liking.

It's also not as open-ended as the initial toilet scene hints at, though does have quite a few situations where the story will change quite a bit, but not massively.

Reckon you'd like it as you're a big movie sort of person :)

Just reinstalled it after another windows crash, ive played the first three scenes about 10 times now, I must start backing up my saves,, love the game though cant wait to get further into it, also its so nice to install a game and have it run smooth on high settings and not take an hour of tweeking before play :)

Understatement of the year, people on lsd would write saner plots!
:D

Its madness is its strong point, enjoy it.

A bit at the end you say? You're obviously not very good at playing the guitar :p

I quite like the way it starts of fairly normal and just gets crazier and crazier. Also there are some amusing things that could be considered plot-holes.

Spoiler warning!

Did anyone else think it was kind of wrong that not only did the guy get jiggy with the girl he also got her pregnant, while he was a reaminated corpse!
