Fahrenheit - what a game !!!

a responce to previous spoiler

yeah, very wrong, but saying that, Buffy did get it on with, not 1 but 2 dead people.... when did this become ok in pop culture ???

Must agree with some of you.. 1 of the best games I have ever played.

Best part is imo the whole scene and setup, like playing in a Hopper painting or something :)

i loved it, however my only draw back was that you miss a lot of the action because your concentrating on the button pressing!

Yea lol !

I loved the game, one of best i played in years.

Bit let down at the end tho, kinda felt "that it" ? :(

True, but you can view the action sequences in the bonuses options after the game is finished though. I was so mentally knackered after finishing the game that I only checked out the 'roadside fight/chase' sequence which was jaw dropping.

I thought the game was actually quite well designed in that regard, because the button guides are right in the centre of the screen, translucent, so you don't have to turn your eyes away while focussing on that.

This is in stark contrast to the likes of GTA:SA or Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude, where the button guides for dancing/bouncing etc are down the bottom of the screen.

As for the title, you'd think it would be more likely they'd use Fahrenheit as the US title, given that most of europe uses Celsius these days.

Might have connotations to something else like the film Fahrenheit 911.

But then again - who would buy a game called Celcius ;)

I just enjoyed the fact that it is the first main stream game where you can have sex  Truthfully it's one of the few games I have ever been bothered with completing. If you like thinking games, and Bemani (sp?) you can't go wrong :p .

I hope more games are made like this, i love them because i get hooked and play right through to the end. Actually, are there any other games remotely like Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy?(Same game)

just did some more, im really liking, i started but then stopped for some reason, just bout to start the bit when lucas' ex comes round. You know there are some choices to make, or when you gotta press buttons for actions bits, the ones that dont seem to be essential, what happens if uscrew those up, does your mood just drop?

If your mood reaches 0 it's game over, as I recall.

Well I just finished this, all I can say is this is one of the best games I've played, I'd put it up there with system shock 2, Deus ex and the Thief series...

to all those that thought it got silly toward the end, I kinda figured out a lot of it from things that were said, or suggested throughout the game, maybe you missed a few of the pointers...

Yeah the plot is a little 'odd' but hell Doom, Farcry? World of warcraft anyone? its just an excellent original idea, I for one am hoping for a sequel or at least a game in a similar vein
