Fahrenheit

I heard this was good ,but the controls are really daft ,you have to act quick but takes ages to work out how to get him to act then end of game ! You also only have very limited control over what you can do . Anther waste of £20

£20? You can get it most places for £4 or 5.

get a remapable joypad and its fantastic, one of the best pc games ever. I do have a friend who hated it though, it seems to be a very devisive game.

Hope I don't get jumped on but I thought after the first quite brilliant hour it became the most tedious game I've played in years. I only finished out of sheer bloody mindedness. The ending was quite laughable.

I've now learnt to play the guitar :) but been dumped by the girlfriend :(
I'm getting use to the silly controls and starting to enjoy it ,the camera angles are not good when your can't see where your going !
Its a shame as it could be a much better game with first person view or even 3rd person if the camera stayed behind the character ! Also a save option would be nice !

Part of the games charm. :D

Was like the developer's were on an acid trip when they wrote the ending.
The only thing missing was robot alien nazi's from the future.

Just gonna jump on the "one of the best games I've played recently" bandwagon. And the controls really arent that bad.

If your using mouse and keys then its a nightmare. The game is designed to be played with a dual-analogue stick joypad, and it couldnt be more simple. The majority of the game is played with just the sticks....hardly any button pressing to do at all.

You know there are multiple endings dont you? That said i think they were all laughable :p

Possibly one of the best adventure games I have ever played. The story was touching at times and throughly enjoyed every second, with loads of moral choices to make.

Agreed, Fahrenheit is a brilliant game. It's a great storyline, but it does get a bit crazy as you get onto the later parts of the game (you'll see what I mean).

how do you control the female cops breathing ,have tried the left and right arrows fast ,slow holding them but nothing works .
Very close to binning this game

When the slider goes a bit far to one side, press the arrow going the opposite way. Once you've pressed it, you need to press the other arrow (the opposite action: breathe out/breathe in) to be able to move back in that direction again, so just quickly tap both again, and just continue to do that. It took me a little while to get that right. If you've only just encountered the first breathing bit, there's another one later one - much harder, so get as prepared as you can now.
