I’m not sure if it’s just me, and my fast decline into silver surfer territory here – but in all my time on the internet, I really am yet to grasp why selective words become ‘cool’ to use.
As the title would suggest, one of the most popular words I see abused lately is the word ‘fail’.
I’m not entirely sure how this became popular... but the amount of people who over use the word, especially on these forums is just ridiculous! Do you not have a wider vocabulary to be able to word if something displeases you?
“FAIL!”
“Epic Fail!”
“Ultimate Fail!”
Perhaps I'm merely ranting... but it's something I have a genuine interest in to why people decide to latch on to selective wording in an almost virus like state.
