Failed test again - Long to wait for rebook?

driving on the right had side of a dual carriage way! All the way along it! You think you don't need more lessons? Thats not nerves, thats dangerous and annoying for people that will take massive risks undertaking you!

Is that a joke, or are there some hidden dangers of undertaking that I'm not awaRE OF? :P

The Highway code.

137

On a two-lane dual carriageway you should stay in the left-hand lane. Use the right-hand lane for overtaking or turning right. After overtaking, move back to the left-hand lane when it is safe to do so.

having a lesson wouldnt stop that corner be there.. dont know what your getting at..

I have another lesson, and the instructor says im driving fine and I fail again, it wont make any difference that I had that lesson.

i wasnt making excuses.. your chatting out your bum crack mate

You were making excuses.

Having more lessons will give you more experience and confidence, both of which are essential when driving. You can *never* have too much experience. You haven't experienced every possible situation yet, so it's quite possible that something may turn up on your test that you haven't yet encountered and you don't know what to do - a few more lessons sounds in order given that you've failed already more than once.

Take this as some friendly advice from someone who has been driving for quite a few years, and I learn from experience every single day.

Having more lessons won't teach you for that corner specifically, but they might give you experience in situations that might arrive in your next test.

And what's the reason?

Well, it depends how cynical you want to be. One reason is simply that it's not what you're suppose to do, so people don't expect it, so people don't check they're left hand mirrors / blind spots so thoroughly when they filter back into the left hand lane, so they crash.

Note, in this case the undertaker will most often be found at fault.

And what's the reason?

when undertaking, you can't guarantee that the person you're undertaking isn't just going to move left and not bother checking and seeing that you're there, potentially knocking into you or forcing you from the road. You can account for other drivers' stupidity to a certain degree, but you definitely can't for stuff like that.

I s'pose that's a very valid point - Lord knows I've been in plenty of people's cars who don't check the drivers side wing mirror when merging right, let alone left!

10 days isn't much of a wait, when i was learning to drive, if you failed your test, waiting was 1-2months for a re-test.

It was a time when brummy's heard Whitchursh passed pretty much anyone (which was a Myth) so we were inundated with people booking tests there.
