Hi all,
Im just after abit of help, my sister has brought her Sony vaio laptop round for me to try and fix (VPCEH2POE)
She claimed that it was left on over night and when next using the laptop it wouldn't work. When I powered on the laptop I get a black screen with the message "failed to load operating system" or something along them lines.
I checked the hard drive was correctly situated, which it was. Unfortunately she never made a recovery CD when she bought the laptop from new. As I couldn't boot up in safe mode or anything I got a copy of win7 and booted up and tried doing a repair. This didn't work although it allowed the system to boot up before being hit with a blue screen, see below

I then removed the hard drive and connected it to my desktop PC were I scanned the data finding only system files, no personal data, photos ect.
With the HD back in the laptop again I tried seeing if I could do a recovery, when searching I seen the partitions are still there, see below.

My question is can I save any of her data which I can't find atm or should I just start again with a fresh install and make sure the HD is ok or get a new HD?
