Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced tablet (uses: just general internet browsing, homework, apps etc.)?? Also preferably around £150, but could probably stretch to £200. I'm not interested in an iPad so PLEASE no Apple suggestions...

I've got no complaints with my Tesco Hudl at £119 (half that if you use Tesco Clubcard vouchers)- has all the grunt you need for content consumption, a good screen, pretty unmolested version of Android, 16Gb storage expandable to 48Gb with micro SD....

I'm sure I saw something the other day about being able to get a Nexus 7 (1st version) for about £120 (presumably because the replacement version is coming out). Can't quite remember where from though. Might be worth looking into.

Hisense Sero 7 pro is a Nexus 7 beater when it comes to value for money vs performance/features, I see it is for sale in 32gb guise for £119 on other electronic buyer stores online.

wait for the new dell 8" tablet, might be a little out your price range but its so much more useful for homework, programs and it can actually be used as a moderate laptop replacement as compared to andriod tablet. It has full version of microsoft windows 8.1 and quad core intel atom cpu which are fast apparently. There is even an 10.1" version whch has both i3/i5 or intel atom cpu powered.
