Fair salary for telephone support?

Yeah, tbh I really enjoy my job, just need more money, actually it's my last day here tomorrow due to false promises about the new campaigns. I'm joining a company that provides accountancy software to businesses. 3 guesses who that is. At least I will be getting a slightly more acceptable wage there.

Not sure, technical support is all I know - whats the options, payroll or accounts? Which is best? Sure I will find out more a week today when I start

Almost certainly one of those two at this time of year.
There are other departments like Act!, MS Office Support, Forecasting and TAS to name a few.
Couldn't comment on which is best as I've always worked in Act!
That's one to avoid though.

Great place to work and so long as your developers aren't sitting on their backsides in the good ol' U S of A pretending that the problems in the 51st State don't exist you're fine.
Unfortunately I work on the only team with non-UK developers.
