Asda's version is fantastc, I can't remember what they're called.

Mighty bars or something but they are an exact copy of Snickers.
Beat me to it. Not the peanut ones though, the twix versions, VERY nice stuff :D

I agree that Snickers is a very stupid name and when I am elected as new benevolent dictator my frst duty will be to insist that they are renamed immediately back to Marathon. However, before that momentous day, I will take your Aztec, Maverick and Gold Bars and raise you a.......TEXAN BAR! :D

Bring back Marathons I say.

What's that then? Was it in my lifetime (i'm 17)?

I remember those crisp packets which you had to salt yourself, but, that's not in question here.

I'd say Morrisons Mini Rolls beat the real Cadbury ones anyday.

I'm normally a bit suspicious about dodgy ripoff products, especially when it comes to chocolate bars. Sainsburys in particular make far inferior own-brand versions of the real thing but I have to say the Mister Choc "Peanut-Choco" from Lidl is a fine substitution for a Snickers.

Gets a thumbs up from me.

Any other good ones out there?
Ok guys I am necro'ing this thread as 15 years later it is absolutely still relevant and avoids me making a new one. I would like to hereby declare that...

Lidl Peanut & Choco bars are better than Snickers.

There, I said it. Not only does the chocolate taste good, but it has more peanut, more caramel and far less of that sickly-sweet faux-nougat nonsense. It is what Snickers wants to be. Pure.

That is all. :D

Chocolate bars and biscuits from Lidl and Aldi are at least equal to those of big supermarket chains own brands and compare well to much more expensive name brands.
