Fake iphone 2G

Yeah the OS is horribly slow and as noted, there is more black on the screen, the Apple logo is off centre, also the thing charges through a mircro usb connection at the top, not the usual iphone connection at the bottom of the phone. Yes it is just called Phone on the back, not iphone. Plus the screen is not glass and plastic.
Roll on 6pm.

Yeah, it turns on.

170371760000 is the item number. After the purchase I noticed the slightly dodgy feedback, £1.99 for a motorola Aura???

I got stung for a money making scam "and not the iPhone I paid £150 for last year" and paypay said as the item was tangible they wouldn't pay out :( he ripped me and 7 others off, then closed he account days later.....grrrrrrr

But you should be ok as the itme is clearly a fake and the seller deserves to burn in hell!!!

:)

Seems that the photo is of a real 2G, and you got the fake. Pretty clear cut case, I'd be surprised if you didn't get every penny back.

I don't know who your going to get your money back from though ? I thought Paypal would only act on your behalf if you and the seller only had a minimum of 50 + Positive feedback each .

I would never had bid on that with so little feedback , good luck anyhow .

what's to stop you keeping the refund and not destroying it? Not as fun maybe, but if it turns on it's a shame to smash up a working phone...

Just got off the phone from the bay.
They said usually they like disputes to be solved through the dispute panel though in this case they would stop us having any more inconvience and refund us, postage and all. :)
Cheers to all the well wishers.

@ The youtube link to the 'fake iphone review':

Love those reviews, haha, so funny. The 'PSP' one is even better. :D

To be honest it is a lot better fake (going by the photos) then I would imagine seeing when I saw the OP. But yeah it is the bay, so from a seller like that, I would be cautious. How much did you pay anyhow?

Good luck in getting your monies back. :)

My missus's thoughts exactly.
I want destruction.

I would hesitate to call this a "working phone" though. From what I gather the battery lasts less than half a day on standby, it constantly drops calls and the touchscreen and OS are slow and unresponsive to the point of frustration.

In summary, burn it! :D

I'd fill it with complete filth and casually leave it in a pub. Someone comes along, thinks it's their luck day only to get an eyeful of pain.jpg

Ahh, in that case it does deserve to die... I vote filming the destruciton and if e-bay don't pay out, send the vid to you've been frames and you may get £250 for the vid it's convincing enough ;)

I bet there are at least a couple of schmoes using one of these day to day without realising that it's fake :D
