Well Ep2 loads and plays fine but Ep1 crashes whilst loading! weird! I'm playing 4xmsaa 16xaf max everything else.

Anyway, Ep 2 looks good too...

And btw, there's no physics action going on with "those" for those expecting some....lol

Ive downloaded it manually so I think I could jump start it that way. At some point I'll see if I can seed but not right now.

Can anyone say if it works with black box copies?

part5 is coming down slowly, i'll re-check that in the torrent tomorrow morning guys

someone else download the other parts, then re-check them in utorrent, instead of us all having to rely on one guy!

Well since its after midnight, VM's throttling stops and wont start again till tomorrow afternoon. And ive started downloading off filefront at max speed, all parts should be done by morning. Then tomorrow morning i shall add the parts to the torrent and start seeding.

I still have it running on my 250 kb/sec connection but it is stuck at 16.6% and it is just seeding to 17 peers now, there are no seeds on it so I can't obtain any more of the file yet.

No, I thought it was, he just hosted the same torrent on his webspace, they both point to the same tracker so it doesn't matter where you get it from.

I may update to Vista64 next week to play through Ep1,2 and HL2 again with this, liking the textures but disliking the crash to desktop when loading new levels!

No probs, the machine I have on it has a 500 kb/sec download rate and is running 24/7 so it should be able to suck up every part that has been seeded and push it out to the peers which should ease some of the load on you.

Right then, firefox crashed and im stuck with 6 rar files of various sizes and firefox wont continue the download. Is there anyway i can add the data from these rar files to the data im downloading from the torrent so i can seed that too?

Download opera and do a hot swap with your partials or you could swap them into bittorrent, hash check it and continue from there
