falling in your sleep

I used to get falling dreams, very commonly, almost daily back when i was about 13-14. I hit the ground and woke up, went back to sleep and it happened again, my body felt all fuzzy and horrible like i was paralized for a few minutes. But now it tends to be something falling from the sky and exploding, like a meteor, or comet, when that hits the ground i get engulfed in flames and also get this feeling of fuzzyness (almost like being electricuted) its really not nice but its a very very wierd experience, anyone else had this before?

I get the falling sensation when I induce a lucid dream. It's how I've trained my mind to recognise that I'm entering the dream so I can still maintain the awareness that I'm dreaming.

Lucid dreaming is the best thing ever

**** me thats a huge spider to have in your mouth icraig, how do you manage to sleep after that wake up call lol.

Well I'm used to having large things in my mouth. Like steaks and 20 marshmellows.

But yeah I had a ritual for about a week of checking every square inch of my bed for any more of the critters.

Sounds nasty. I've heard of stuff like this so called "kissing bug" thats like crawls on your face and bites your lips and sucks your blood (while you sleep of course). I think anyway :D

Whats worse is dreaming that there is a spider next to your head, waking up and doing a diving roll off your bed and spending the next 10 minutes searching for a spider in your bed totally convinced that there is something there. Its happened to me more times than I can count.
That's not as bad as the dreams I have.
One night I dreamt there was a comically huge spider descending from the ceiling onto me lying in bed. I jumped up and clashed the door behind me with all my might and I can remember hearing my mother saying "what the hell was that". I can't help but laugh when I think about it now, must have frightened the life out of her :D.

Just wondering, When your asleep and you feel like you've just fallen out the sky and landed on your bed, what does it mean or what has happened for that to happen ?

It means you want to sleep with your mother, or maybe that's just me.

wow some really weird dreams in here.

Ive had a few of those falling ones.My latest one was when i fell asleep just laying on my bed......was riding my bike in the dream crashed and as i was about to land woke up :(

Just last night i dreamt it was the 1st of june,a la pay day........i was ordering my 7900......i then woke up and was depressed that i had no money for another week. Im sure that happened cause i was thinking about money before going to sleep.
