Does anyone know if Steam are going to release FO3 GOTY? I can get a hardcopy off a well known online retailer for £20 - and Steam are offering the bog standard version for £26 :(

Another quick question, if I buy the hardcopy, and activate on Steam, am I dreaming to think that I'll then be able to download from Steam in the future?

Well you can get the goty for 14 off a stores web site but i don't see the need to activate it through steam.

Buy GOTy and install as you have to work thru GFWL either way you might as well buy retail.

Betsheba have a contract with MS thru GFWL to supply the DLC, this will likely prevent steam from hosting a GOTY edition for some time to come.

I had the steam version, and then I went and bought retail GOTY from tescos's as it was much cheaper than buying the DLCs thru GFWL.

I truly hope the GfWL DLC contract is a temporary one. I wouldn't trust that software as far as I could throw it.

I did that as well as I was fed up waiting for the release on Steam (though from another retailer). The DLC added some nice options to the game though I wasn't too keen on Mothership Zeta.
