Fallout 3 - Post your character

Apparently Power Armour is really nerfed in Fallout 3, lots of people complaining about it over on the official forums. Apparently it offers little in the way of bonuses (even taking away from some of your main combat abilities so it makes you worse in combat) over some of the more basic scrap armour that you can come across around the Wasteland.

That is not what that screenshot is, through that door is the small cave that leads into your vault, not just a bizarrely up kept door to nowhere.

From what I've seen so far FO3 doesn't seem to be suffering from the generic door/caves that were all over Oblivion.

Well I would say I am getting close to the end. I would say where I am now, but some people don't like spoilers here. I am thinking of opening a thread soon where spoilers are aloud, so we can speak more freely.

So far I have visited 87 places on the map, and can fast travel between them now. Megaton is like one of the first places i visited. I am on level 15 with my character. Where abouts are you guys?

As for what people are saying about power armour. Well it is much better in terms of it will protect you 4-5 times more than the ones you have at the start. I got one now and it has no negative effects, not the one in the picture. The one I have in the picture is called Tesla I think, its slightly better then the Enclave one. The only negative is it weighs more. Plus its not like enemies get 20 times more tough, so you should have 20 times better armour, its balanced I think.
 
% wise I would say at least 75%. I am referring to story mode by the way. Because you could spend like 50 hours easily just doing quests and not touch the story. I don't know though, that's the feeling I get. Unless the story takes another twist, then I could be only 50% done, but I do doubt it.

nice i did not know they included Advanced Power Armor Mk II in f3. hope it is good.

and if it is buged nerfed hope they fix it


edit: andvaced power armor mk II stats should be something like this well at least it used to be

Are you talking about 25,000 caps in this game? If so wow, I am not close to the end I think. I have nearly 10,000 caps, so I have a long way to go. But from the way you described it, it sounds like from the old fallout.
 
yea i did not receive my f3 limited edition but if they did include mkII from fallout 2 it the stats should be something like above

It seems on my last post I was on my last main mission :(

I saw 3 different ending, all with good karma, but slightly different.

I completed the game on level 16. Once I finished the main story I played for a few hours after by loading a save point before and finished some more quests, but I lost interest. That is a shame. I would recommend you do as many quests as possible before working on the main story if you want to get the most out of the game.
