Fallout 3 problems?

Right just trying to get into Fallout 3 once again.
Now quite constantly i get fps drops to 27-45 from a constant 60.
And a fair amount of time it tends to go in slow motion, is there any known issues atm? A quick google and i can't find crap all..

I have a 5870, Quad @ 3ghz, 4gb RAM.

O and it seems to be crashing a lot, everytime when i alt + tab and occasionally while playing.
Mind you i havnt played this game in ages, isn't my speccs as i played this with a quad @ 2.5 and a 4870 last year.

Hi,
Alt-tabbing doesn't seem to work and this is one game in particular that doesn't have great support, especially for ATI, which is nothing new.
I would try o/c your cpu a little more, though 3ghz should be at least adequate. What OS are you currently using?

My CPU is fine. Never had these problems last time i played it this earlier this year. Tbh it looks like a game big, when my FPS drops it goes into slow motion, not stuttery just slow motion. But also the odd random fps drop.

Using windows 7 64bit atm.
