Fallout 4 thread

Only just discovered fall out and Bethsedas amazing single player offline experience (something that is lacking in new games.

I've only played fallout 3 (new Vegas might actually arrive today) but Iadored it. It'smy ideal game. I don't even mind the flaws.

Like said, being able to interact more with the environment and for me a more expansive main mission would be nice.

Hope it's like fo3 but better
 
I don't care what they do as long as they use either a new or different graphics engine for it. I am getting seriously ****ing tired of Gamebryo.
 
FO3 blew me away to such an extent, that I begun writing short stories on my adventures from Day1. I had intended to stick them on my blog with pix but never did. The atmosphere was terrific and it felt so right. I never got along with NV from the outset. It was the buggiest game I had played during the year of its release and all the bugs I encountered just killed any interest in the game. Not to mention that stalker robot! :(
 
I loved NV more than 3 because I found it more atmospheric on many counts. I really hate the mutants, though. I like games to be 'realistic'. I liked scouting around the desert. Both amazing games, though.

Even better with mods.
 
I liked New Vegas a lot, but Fallout 3 was such a different game compared to what I had previously experienced, that I have a sort of soft spot for it. Fallout 3 is a really good game and completely hooked me for each of my playthroughs, even without mods.

Can't wait for the next instalment.

Fallout was never intended to be realistic. It's always had slap-stick elements.

Yes I felt the same away about Skyrim. left quite disappointed. I really didn't think it would turn out to be as repetitive as Elder Scrolls Oblivion though it sure as hell managed to.

But Fallout 3 was a superb game. Hope they announce a follow up.
 
FO3 is one of the best games i have ever played in my life , game was so good.
Looking forward to what they do in FO4 even if it may be a while yet

Skyrim was good but got dull pretty fast and was seriously lacking in story and a decent world.

170 hours into FO3, 140 odd into NV.

If FO4 comes out this year, I feel there will be a stress on my relationship with the Mrs. But oh so worth it lol.
