They've been saying it for years now.

Will probbably turn out to be poor, fallout was about the storey, not mmo grind.

Probbably go bust again before they finish.

Fallout MMO? no thanks. Unless they put a crap load of work into to I don't think it would work that well.

Hmmmmm havent Bethesda just started a new MMO section, well I think itz Zenimax but Bethesda is part of them so surely wouldnt they have a right to contest this as they bought the IP from Interplay?

The article quoted in the opening post says that Interplay retain the rights to a Fallout MMO.

tbh i have lost interest in most MMO's, but this really sounds great, especially with interplay at the helm

Probably accurate though. The MMO scene needs something radically new, only a small handful have maintained any kind of western subscriber base, Eve Online, WoW, Runescape and Final Fantasy XI are about the only 4 that spring to mind. Each of those brought something new or rather different to the whole mix.

The rest have all been flashes in the pan, for the most part. Great initial surge and then trailing off after 6 months as people realise that it's actually been the same old rubbish repackaged.

I just dont get excited by MMO's these days, Conan was a epic fail (havent played it mind) just VN board light reading

, WOW didnt do it for me, Warhammer didnt do it for me, spent a few weeks in beta and it was just such hard work imo

I have played DAOC on and off for a few years with GOA and mythic and it was good fun but maybe i am just getting to old or i have turned into a right grumpy git, not sure which tbh :eek:

I will know it when i see it but its not out at the moment, but when something good comes out i will be grinding, spanking and taunting the noobs with the best of them
