Family calendar not showing on my android calendar. But I can see it exists.

We have a Google 1 subscription.
My partner has set up a family calendar.
I can see it exists in the app settings.

But I cannot see it in calendar on my mobile or on desktop browser at all.

This is the only way I know it exists.

I cleared cache, I've tried to find any trace of it in the myriad of settings sections.
But can I get it to load? I cannot.

Any ideas?
 
I switched mine off, by going to the calender itself, then the settings, top left, then under google account, I switched off family calender.. might be worth seeing if you can switch it on there?

Can't see the calendar at all. As in that box there is the only indication it exists. I can't switch it on or off. It appears no where else
 
Nothing constructible to add, but I hate how ******* over-convoluted Google is to get anything set up or just to change a simple setting.

Yeah there are so many menus. It drives me insane. Google, Google 1, menu upon menu upon menu.
 
Has it been shared with you?

If you click settings does the calendar show under your email account? If it doesn't then it hasn't been shared with you.

Yeah it's not anywhere.

No it's no where except in the screenshot in the OP.

I assumed if it was in the menu in the OP it would be available?

But yeah I may need to get the long ID string of the calendar. She says she's shared it. To be honest I assumed it would share on its own
