Now I know you guys love building £700 gaming rigs, so hopefully you also like a challenge, and here it is.

Current PC:

P4 2.53ghz
1.25gb PC3200 ram
9600pro 128mb agp

Looking at upgrading that. The rules:

Cheap as possible (don't really want to go over £200)
Faster than what we have (der)
Micro Size Motherboard
2gb ram
Decent(ish) graphics, keeping tabs on a B grade Asus 3650 for £35, just really want it for source games and understand its the processor which usually is more important, plus screen is max 1024x768
Needs to have 2 IDE ports, as I assume the hard drive uses 1 and the DVD and CD-RW uses another.
Power supply is max 250w will that be enough??

Now I've made an attempt and got to under £150 but dunno whether motherboard supports that ram, how 2 IDE thingys work, whether an X2 4600+ is actually any faster etc etc

What do ya think?

you could get a 780g mobo & overclock its onboard grapics to the level of a 3650
and you would get a better mobo overall

Have a 780g board myself & it handles cs source fine
