Family tree mapping programme

Hi there,

I'd like to buy my dad a programme so that he can map out the ancestry information he's been digging up over the last few years.

I have no idea what's out there but I will be looking on google of course. If anyone has any recommendations it would be very handy though.

It must be easy to use and work with windows 7

My mum uses Personal Ancestral File PAF version 5. There is a chart production tool on the right to try.

Can't find any screen shots of it, but there is a Wiki page with one picture.

my dads been using Family Tree Maker 2008/2009 for the past couple of years. not used it much my self but looks like it does the job pretty well

Family Tree Maker. (More so if he has an Ancestry subscription)

My uncle's done loads of family tree research. He's used a shareware program called Brother's Keeper for years to store the information and print out a whole selection of different family trees.
