Hi there;
Just built a new PC, and am tryiong to work out how to control the fan speeds and hence the noise, especially as I sleep with the computer on.

Any suggestions on how to do this. I have installed the AMD cool n'quiet thing but it does not seem to help.
Also have ASUS PC Probe 2 installed, but not sure what I can do with it.

Ideally would like to turn the fans down when i go to bed as the only thing the PC is doing is playing back music. Is there anything out there which I could do without having to buy more hardware?

For additional information the fans are connected to the motherboard.
I also have a seasonic S12 430W which apparently can control the fans. Does nayone have any experience with these?

Cheers
Sunny

Best option would be to buy a fan controller. I just ordered the Vantec Nexus NXP-201. Unfortunatley OC don't stock it anymore, but you can get it at NO COMPETITORS. READ THE FAQ - Rilot. Look under cooling, then fan controllers :)
