I never usually mess around with fan control but after finding the fan control in RivaTuner I was supprised when i put it upto 50% then 60,70,80,90 and 100.
In both 3dmark and 4 loops of crysis benchmark i have only heard the fan go to about 50 or 60% It crashed when i put the core upto 720 and mem to 2050 but the fan didnt sound like it was at 100% at all.
I dont know much about fan cooling but what i do know is that it should be working 100% before crashing, instead of 50
Are the following settings correct in my RivaTuner. I want the fan to go to 70% then higher when it gets to a certain heat. I tried going into the poweruser but it doesnt seem to save as its still greyed out. Also what do the settings mean in the pic and should I set a fixed '3D performance' setting?
