As some of you might have seen I've recently built a new machine..

Now what i'm after is a black brushed aluminium fronted controller with leds that will change to red, back-lit

Now I've looked at the lamptron FC5 V2 but its now discontinued i can get hold of one elsewhere, the thing with this is it looks perfect for what i need, and comes with braided cables, BONUS!

the one that is still available on ocuk, is the lamptron fc6 now the aesthetics on this is slightly different, as it has the four hex screws on the front...

just after some opinions really, if the controller i decide to go for doesn't have braided cables ill buy some bit fenix ones anyway!

Just need a quality looking controller! HELP!

Cheers

I have the LC6, I can't fault it at all, one of the best looking fan controllers made IMO. Plus the LCD display doesn't have the ghost of the unlit parts like most seem to do.

That looks boshing that mate! damn, it doesnt come with braided cables just to clear things up?

Also will sit nice in a 350d you reckon?

Yeah it has braided cables :)

I'm sure it would. It makes my Zalman Z9 Plus case look better than ever. I run my push/pull rad fans off one header no problem at all too.

nice. when looking at unboxing videos it hasnt showed me the braided cables :/

+1 i also have the FC6 , absolutely changed my world... just dont do what i did and forget to turn your fans up before gaming :D

Bought it about 1 week ago, I can confirm it does indeed come with braided cables however I found the molex extension to be really shoddy the pins where totally misaligned meaning plugging molex power into it was impossible, lucky my PSU has long cables. This can be resolved by using a bitfenix cable extension though so its all good.

Ordered!

Im constantly gaming, i'll leave my h100i to control itself, just want one for the front 2 x 120mm intakes and the rear exhaust 120mm :)

I can vouch for the lamptron stuff.

I have a FC2 analogue 6 channel and it's does exactly what it says on the tin. PLENTY of power to daisy chain up fans, lovely black brushed alu finish and feels solid.

That FC6 looks awesome, would consider changing to it myself but I run non PWM fans and need more than the 4 channels it offers.

Mhhhm simples! :D

luckily the 600t had screw mounts in just the right place for it, Get a tiny bit of bleeding from the LCD around the edges but I do have the white 600t so its a little expected.

Forgot to mention that after asking some questions on here I can confirm 20w per chan is MORE than enough to run multiple fans off (I was informed I could run EVERY fan off 1 chan if I wanted) Pick up some of these http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-013-AK to split fans up... Just dont run them out of stock I may need a few more :D
