So I have a H440 arriving tomorrow and only need to buy a few more bits before building the system. The System will be watercooled. I have the following Pump: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-416-EK&groupid=962&catid=2133&subcat=1845

My question is: With the H440 not having any optical drive bays, what are my options in terms of Fan Controllers? Does anyone know if the Fan Controller that comes with the Case will have the ability to change the fan speed?

Also, I'm guessing I'd need to buy a separate controller for the Pump? Any suggestions?

I don't have any fans either. I was going to test out the Case fans first and see how they do.

This is a bit of a learning curve for me so I apologise if this is simple stuff.

Well, you could use a few of those:
Enermax T.B. Silence Manual UCTB12A 120mm
They have a speed control knob attached, each.
Maybe a bit of a pain to control each fan separately, but better than nothing.
Or just use PWM fans.
If you are ok with a little modding, there are 3.5" fan controllers, which you could put into 3.5" hdd bay inside the case, still a bit of a pain to change fan speeds.
And I think I have seen some fans with a control knob which you attach in pci slot.
Neither of these are really good solutions to be honest.
So you can get sub 1k ultra quiet fans, connect them to fan hub/fan splitter and just have them run at max speed.
Enermax T.B. Silence UCTB12, standard version, are really good and quiet, they are also dirt cheap this week. I have 9 of them in my case and can't hear any of them at 850-900 rpm.

Just been doing a bit of reading and PWM fans can be controlled by the Motherboard through whatever software on the PC. Is that correct?
So I could just use the Fan Hub that comes with the H440 and keep all the fans at the same Speed on the Rad.

The Pump is also PWM so I could also plug this into the Mobo to control the flow?

Also, those fans look pretty good. Would they be okay on a Rad?
