Fan Controller Help!

Can anyone recommend a good fan controller, preferably black in colour and to control a minimum of 4 fans.

I found this Vantec offering ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_2D7di4XuQ

I particularly need to find a controller that comes with the power leads, if you see about 25secs in on the video you'll know what I mean.

Can anyone point me to a UK retailer that supplies this or suggest some alternatives?

Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus

Great controller that can control 6 fans.

As for suggesting others:

Scythe Kaze Master Ace or just the normal Scythe Kaze Master

Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus, I have one and its great

Or look around for a Sunbeam Rheobus, was my second choice. Finish doesnt look as good as the Scythes or Zalmans, but it can be found for around £15

The Rhebus is one of the most powerfull controllers out as it can take 20w per channel (ideal for daisy chaining those fans and running them off one channel). However, it's certainly not the best looking controller around.

Hmm the zalman and the Scythe are looking nice do you know if they come with the 4 pin to three pin wires like in that video. Or should I just buy those seperatley?

I'm running the Zalman MFC1+ and it certainly looks the part. I think it's about 7w per channel, but with 6 fan connections that should be ok.

Dont think my Zalman came with them, it just has the 3pin fan connectors on the controlelr and a few extension cables. What fans are you using? Most use the 3pin connectors (or 4pin pwm) anyway so will connect straight to the controller

iam too after a fan controller and zalman are bringing a new model out the ZM MFC3 which is out in july

Im wanting to control the fans inside the case already the antec 900, it has 2 fans on the front, 1 on the back and 1 top 120 mm fan.

They are they big fat 4 pin things so id had to get a 4 pin to 3 pin i would hav thought.

Yea, if they have Molex connectors (the big 4 pin ones that connect straight to the power supply) you will need some sort of converter cables or somthing. Or just upgrade your fans to somthing better than the stock ones

sunbeam rheobus, and i think it does 30w per channel , 6 channels
the zalman ones can struggle to spin up big fans,,,speaking from experience,

and you probably need 6 fans nowadays

in the case of this silverstone fortress case
big fans front, top, 120 back, 2 120s on the push pull, and one left for a cooler on the gpu

and they all come with power leads anyhow
