fan controller question

I have just bought a Lamptron FC5 v2 to go with my 800d but what I want to know is im going to be putting 3 akasa blacks in the top as exaust fans but can I run all 3 fans off 1 channel or is that asking a bit to much.

i think 2 is ok for one channel but all depends on what rating the controller is and what rating the fans are to be honest.

try and see if it works is the other option

You need to find out how many watts per channel it can take then work out what each fan uses (power=voltagexcurrent). Rating for current will be on each fan.

edit: looks like 30w per channel so three fans will be fine.....will take many more depending on power of fans

that controller will not struggle what so ever with 3 fans on one channel, it will be fine

Should be fine have 2 Vipers on one chan and 3 coolermaster 200mm running on another without any issues.

As stated above believe its 30w per chan so more than enough.

Akasa Apache Black 0.33Amps = 3.96 Watts.

So yea you could have 7 per channel and be fine.
