I've just plugged my two case fans into the fan controller of my 600T.

I don't really see much of an effect when I increase the fan speed. The LED glows a little brighter and I hear a bit more noise but I only notice a small increase from lowest to highest setting. Is this correct ?

How do I know if it's working correctly ?

Also if the fans are plugged into the fan controller how can the MB monitor the speed of the fans ? Surely they need to be connected directly to the MB ?

Cheers

The yellow wire is the one telling your device how quick the fan is spinning. If your fan controller doesnt have a speed readout, then you need to connect that wire using a seperate plug to your motherboard - which is how my radiator fans are connected - red and black from the fan controller, yellow to the motherboard.

This is the set-up....

No colour cables on my controller and no digital readout.

Thanks
