Fan controller required?

I replaced 2 case fans (got a pair of 120mm 3-pin BitFenix Spectre) intake and outtake. I noticed in the BIOS that they are not spinning the same speed as each other, I guess this is due to a power/priority issue? One is ~500rpm and the ~1000rpm - which is the max. It's not particularly loud but it is an uneven sound, if that makes sense.

Would it be worth getting a fan controller to set them both at say 750rpm and leave the CPU fan as it is? (just a stock one at present at around ~1300rpm) Or is there some other way to do it which I can't see in the BIOS?

Looking at this fan controller

I dont think you need a fan controller mate.
Your mobo will set fan speeds according to requirements of the system.
Are you overclocking?
Have you tried speedfan?

Pete - they're in SYS_FAN1 and SYS_FAN2. Will have a look at the manual for any differences between the two, I presumed they both work the same though.

jeckulz - Not overclocking as yet, and I had a look at Speedfan but only briefly, will give it another go.

Sounds like one is controlled by the motherboard and the other is just running full pelt. Your motherboard will determine how many fans you can control or not control, you may even have some headers that won't return fan speed, or run the fan at 5v.
