Hi all

As some of you may be aware I am thinking of upgrading my case fans to yates dsm12 (x4), but I am now looking at a fan controller for them.

I was going to buy an MFC1 plus but they are out of stock at the moment, a friend of mine has recommended a controller from a company called Aerocool.

Has anyone bought/ owned one of these and what is your opinion of them

Thanks for your assistance and any recommendations.

I have the aerocool... I presume you mean the cheap one with a silver front and green/red/blue led lit rings around the variable resistor knobs?

The voltage goes from about 11-11.5ish to about 7 volts I think. I can't hear the yate loon 12cm low version fan when it's down at minimum, though I needed to add a resistor cable between the fan 3 pin and the fan controller connectionto make a 120mm x 38mm panaflo M fan on my radiator nice and quiet.

Anyway, the aerocool fan controller will be fine for the yate loons. :)
