Looking for a Fan Controller for my ATCS840 case just built my system into it and its rather noisey can anyone suggest a decent fan controller please. Was rather suprised by the noise but i think some of the noise is coming from my x2 apaches on my cooler they are running at full tilt and I can not seem to find a way to control the fans in bios so they just increase as the temp goes up.

Thanks

How have you got the fans plugged in on your hsf? If they are running at full there will be some noise. Best option is to use the akasa pwm splitter as will both fans at the same speed and its automatic so you dont need to worry about controlling them.

If. is your case fand then I have a scythe controller which I like but Lamptron comes recommended too.

Thanks guy and I am using a pwm splitter for my apache fans.

Say with the Lamptron FC5 V2 do you have to use the thermal sensors to use it or can you just use it for your fans?

No you don't have to at all. I have this fan controller and haven't bothered with the sensors. I have it set to show volts under the rpm and backlit in red to match the fans/theme.

This is the first fan controllor I've had so I have no basis for a comparison but I am really happy with it.

Thanks glad to hear that emailed ocuk and reply said you have to use the sensors to get it to work properly, good to know someone has experience with it without using them.

Will be going green on mine as im using green led fans and adding a green led strip at the weekend.

Thanks again.
