Fan controllers / splitters

Yes of course it'll be fine. 45w per channel is good for at least 5 fans, maybe as many as 15 Gentle Typhoons.
 
One question, don't mean to hijack. I am about to get a 3 fan controller, but need to control 4 fans with it. Can I use the 3 pin splitter and control 2 fans that I want to run at the same speed with one dial on the controller?
