Fan controllers..

Hi guys,

I'm after a nice looking - black finish fan controller for my case (can be large or small) ..main feature which is what I need help on. ..it must be able to turn the fans completely off! =)

AK-FC-03 Akasa Fan Controller Pro looks good but I can't tell if the fans would be off at the lowest setting or if it would be 5V for example.

cant say on that make but the `Sunbeam Rheobus Black`(actually i have the silver) does turn off completly and ramps the voltage/speed from 0 to 12 v

Vantec Nexus with a lighting starter intergrated is one that does 0-12v
Ocuk dont stock them anyomore though? :confused:

(doesnt mean others dont)

yeah I had one of those before (nexus) but its stopped working =( ..lights dont turn on now at all and fans just run at full all the time

I've got the Akasa one and it doesn't turn them off at the lowest setting

why do you want them off ?

Most the time I dont need them on at all...plus the fans are made of metal..look cool but aren't the quietest.

My PC is pretty quiet atm (apart from you can hear the harddrive) and so I only want to turn them on if its a hot day really.
