Fan Controllers

What mobo are you using? Several have built in fan controllers. The ones on my IN9-32X MAX are superb. 6 controllable fan headers in all.

From manual it says:
1 * CPU
4* Chassis
1 * Power

Would these all be controlled based on temps? Reason is I am getting some delta's and dont want my rig to take off unless it has to :)

If you are getting Delta's then I doubt very much if the onboard fan headers will run them. You may even burn them out due to the very high power requirement of Delta's.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=OA-002-AK&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat= do NOT use with deltas (without modding as this fan controller can not handle a 120mm delta without burning out (its not rated to handle the power requirements) your best option is to webnote the shop to request the power draw of the delta fans you are getting and compatable fan controllers (with specs, such as max power it can handle, current and other figures) i also suggest a good large bulldog clip to act as a heatsink for the fan controller (you may get what i mean when you have your new kit)

Ok thanks for that...

more reading from the manual... (havent read this much in ages!)

Says "The fan connectors support cooling fans of 350 mA - 2000 mA (24 Watt Max) or a total of 1A - 7A (84 Watt max) at +12V"

Anyone no what the 120mm and 80mm draw?
