Fan going ?

OK so I have a Lancool K62 Case , and I think maybe one of fans is on its way out as it's been squeaking here and there , all the fans in the case are the stock ones that came with it ....should i now expect in the next few months the other stock fans to start to " go " as well .

I do have some other fans, Aerocool Shark Blue Edition LED Fans...but they are pretty noisy lol

Squeaking could be the bearings going, it could be a one off but it depends on the fan's expected lifetime and quality. It could have come slightly off balance as such and is hitting or rubbing something, so you could check that as well.

.....nothing in the way of the blades ....but when i took it out it did feel a bit loose ie "rocking " a little from side to side...also the screws were not all screwed in to the same depth...so i suppose it could well have been sitting in the case on a tilt , so i adjusted that , the other two stock fans i looked at feel pretty "stable"

I have the same case, one of the fans (top front) rattles occasionally and i have to tap it to make it shut up, and the rear fan rattles like a can of bolts, so i have reduced the RPM's to 50% and it has silenced it.

I am not impressed at all. Replacing ALL fans in my case... 14cm Bitfenix Spectre Pro white LED fans in the front and top, and a pair of apache blacks on the rad at the rear.

The noisy one on mine is the top back ..and I've not had it long at all

, so i may have to invest in a set of new ones

I have had my setup 8 - 10 months (cant quite remember)
I'm not going to bother making a warranty claim because knowing the company I bought it from, they would make it awkward and want me to send the entire chassis back or something equally retarded... :rolleyes:

If only OC had it in stock when i ordered my parts...
