Hope everyone has had a great Christmas,Just a quick question, building my sons gaming computer been a very busy day so starting today and will finish tomorrow, got the AMD cpu in and cooler on, it's a Thermalright Assassin King and a b650 motherboard, the cpu cooler is fitted and the fan has 2 sets of wires, one I have attached to cpu fan socket but the rgb wire in fan manual says attatch to ARGB but the motherboard doesn't have a set of pins saying that, only has jrgb sockets and one says pump fan and one says sys fan
What would be the correct one unless I am missing one.

Help appreciated.
Thanks everyone

Argb doesn't work with jrgb so you will have to leave it unplugged unless the board has an ARGB header.

What motherboard is it ?
Hi it's the MSI B650M Gaming Plus WIFI MATX Motherboard, once in the case I will have 3 more fans to plug in aswel.

Thanks dean

According to the spec your motherboard has 2x Addressable V2 RGB LED connector (JARGB_V2) so it should fit there.

So fan for cpu cooler will go there I will have a good look soon thank you @mickyflinn , will the case fans go onto the jrgb pins or syt fan ones ? I am going to go back and have a good look. Thanks for the help.

Just found JARGB v2 socket right next to the cpu fan socket the text was a bit further down and not near the pins. My mistake. Also.fot the ram in D I MMBA2 and B2 and says first on the text hope that's correct.

Argb goes to jargb header and the other 4 pin goes to CPU fan header.

Skip to 6min 20 secs in this video.

Brilliant thank you that was fine. Another slight issue, list below of my build.

Antec CX500M RGB M-ATX Mini Tower Black

AMD Ryzen 5 7600x 6 core / 12 threads AM5 38MB Cache upto 5.3Ghz max boost

MSI B650M Gaming Plus WIFI MATX Motherboard

Team Group G50 2TB SSD M.2 2280 NVME PCI-E

Crucial Pro DDR5 Ram 32GB 2x16GB 6000 mhz CL36 overclocking gaming memory

MSI Mag A650GL PSU 80 Plus Gold

B Grade Sapphire Radeon RX 7600 Pulse Gaming 8GB GDDR6 PCI-Express GPU

Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE ARGB CPU cooler 120mm

I just want to make sure everything wired in, I have connected the 2 cpu power supply's to the psu, the motherboard connection, the USB ones and switch etc.

The fans have molex connectors from the case, I have found a cable but looks like it will plug into psu but other end has a motherboard connections, is it one of the other ? So plug in at motherboard and not the psu just use the cable from the psu box ?

Also if that's correct what would be the correct location on the motherboard. SYS FAN1 ?Thanks again Dean

Molex will provide the power to the fans , any writing on the other cable ?

Is it 3 pin or 4pin
There is a cable in the psu box that has 3 sets of 4 pin moved plugs and 1 plug that is 6 pin into the psu and a small plug that is 4 pin at other end, tried with that plugged in and none of fans worked so going to try plugged into psu.

Not sire if maybe fans are not controllable to change colours etc.

Thanks dean

Yes that's the molex you need to power the fans which are a fixed speed and not controable, a bit of googling mite be required.

Is the pc up and running ?

Your welcome.

Check the memory is running at the correct speed and let us know when your all set.

Playing a game is a good test for a new build.

Trying to install windows and stuck on the lets connect to a network page , I have the wifi bit plugged in but not listed, do I need to change something is bios ? Or click shift f10 and type something into command prompt?

I imagine if I get installed I can hopefully sort the wifi bit out.

Going by some early research into a new build soon myself, you may need the WiFi drivers, can you plug a network cable in to get all the drivers downloaded?

I will need jump this hurdle as well eventually, luckily I can hook up downstairs to wired internet and an lg c4.

There may be another way of installing them via usb stick if you have a laptop or know someone with a pc to get them, I may be completely wrong on all this though, lol.
