I've installed fancontrol. It's detected my AMD 9070XT but not the CPU (X2) chassis and chassis side fan

Is this util anygood or best to use something else? asrock 650e PG riptide motherboard.

I've installed hwinfo and I can't see any fan speed controllers anywhere, is it in the main branch?

I've been using FanControl for a while and not had any problems, detect all the sensors correctly for me.
Not sure what you mean by 'main branch' - are you meaning the main motherboard hierarchy? I'm not at my PC at the moment, however IIRC my board has 2 or 3 top level elements showing in HWInfo that show different groups of data - had to expand them all to find the info I want. If HWInfo is up to date and not showing the sensors either, then that would mean it's likely not an issue with Fancontrol.

Are all the drivers for the motherboard up to date?
 
try reinstalling it, for my it worked fine then after a fresh install of windows it missed 2 of my headers.
i just deleted it and reinstalled worked fine the second time
 
Using Fan Control here as well. I did have a few funnies with the assisted fan detection, but, how I did it was to let it go off and detect everything then I would alter the sliders to identify the actual ones connected to a fan, rename, and rinse and repeat until I had what I wanted added. Can't quite remember how to do it now, perhaps click the spanner icon then "identify fans..."?
 
Could it be that some of the other monitoring software is interfering? Have you tried closing all other monitoring software then re running fan control to detect the sensors?
