So this being a 3/4 card would fit into the MBP ExpressCard slot :D

The Team ExpressCard/34 Solid State Disk (S34E01) supports a maximum capacity up to 32GB for users to access multimedia and other data faster and more conveniently with the ExpressCard/34 interface. The ExpressCard/34 is a SSD with built-in NAND flash using ExpressCard/34 interface.

MacTM OS 10.4 or later

Efficiency
MLC: Read up to 18MB/s, Write up to 8MB/s (8GB-32GB)
SLC: Read up to 25MB/s, Write up to 12MB/s (8GB-32GB)

Pointlessness!

SSD would be perfect for a system drive.

Sadly you can't boot from Expresscard so its ultimately, pointless.

200Gb 7200RPM eSATA > that.

Would make applications/games faster :p ;) (that's a joke..)

Doesn't stop you using a toshiba 64GB SSD 2.5" SATA to replace the normal system disk and then add another in the ExpressCard slot for additional storage :D
