So this being a 3/4 card would fit into the MBP ExpressCard slot

SSD would be perfect for a system drive.

Sadly you can't boot from Expresscard so its ultimately, pointless.

200Gb 7200RPM eSATA > that.

Doesn't stop you using a toshiba 64GB SSD 2.5" SATA to replace the normal system disk and then add another in the ExpressCard slot for additional storage

Those read/write speeds are pretty slow no? I get that quite happily from a 7200rpm drive.
