Fans full RPM

Hi,

I've just replaced my cooler (K2) with an H100i (i know there won't be a cooling difference, i was going to replace case fans anyway and decided to).

2 Corsair SP120's plugged into H100i, with the pump connected to the cpu_fan the usb of h100i going into FSB usb1 header, the fans run at full RPM. Is this expected? I thought the 100i might taper fan speeds down?

Am i wrong in this assumption? It's noisier than before at the moment, should i stick the fans on the fan controller in the case? (600t) and run them at minimum with cpu_fan taking care of pump? I don't have a disc for this corsair link software mentioned so maybe that's the issue.

And my fan controller seems a bit broken, but i'll happily put the exhaust fan (AF120) on a case fan header and stick the 2 SP's on the controller if that's a good idea?

Just expected them to go slower when cooling wasn't required is all, but i looked into the h100i when it came out and not just now before buying it, so maybe i'm wrong.

Yeah you need the PWM ones to control the RPM.

The 600T can only take a 200mm front fan, I'd recommend the Bitfenix Spectra Pro (You'd need to put your HDD cage back towards your motherboard for to fit it though) but it's soo much better than the stock fan.
