now I'm thinking as its black, red fans might be a nice idea. the only red LED ones are these

bit expensive and and i want lower RPM fans

any suggestions to alternatives, no links to competitors!! manufacture links only

would it be better to go with standard fans and add lights, like in w3bbo's tiger style build, if so which fans are good? I know Yate Loon's are populer

ta

any takers?? I am at a bit of a loss when it comes to fans, as i don't really believe the stats which are quoted by each manufactures

might just get some Yate Loon's and put LED's in them over time, I'm getting a triple rad and the emphasis is on noise. but i want 5 so price is important.

Yate Loon do a 120mm fan with four blue LED's and a clear frame (also a UV reactive blue one is available) could just swap out the LED's on them? Although OCUK don't stock them, the model codes are: "D12SL-12 (clear fan)", "D12SL-124B", "D12SH-124B".

if you do put LED's in them yourself can you make a thread about it?

I may also do this some time.:)

personally i think overclockers should stock the LED'd Yate Loon fans but they dont, so thats that :p

good idea, will do that, probably going to 7volt mod them as well.

I'd just bare in mind that would 7-volt the led's as well, proably not a bad thing though as there normally a bit bright imo.
