fans to replace phanktek fans

i need help finding fans to replace my phanktek cooler fans, as there to loud even at 800rpm 140mm

this is the cooler/fans

only trouble is im not sure if you can take them black things away from the current fans see the picture the metal bars go through the black gromets? to hold them in place.

what fans do you recommend? ideally want <19db lower noise the better

Why don't you make them go slower than 800rpm? You should be able to go lower than 600rpm with any fan.

my motherboard only allows down to 50% of the speed :mad:

or some akasa apache 120/140mm fans

thers some prolimatech 140mm silent fans also

Fan speed reduction cable or 3 or 4 diodes in series to drop from 12v to 9/10v and then the 50% will be 500-600rpm. You'll lose your top end speed though, but in saying that any fan at 800rpm will be similarly noisy anyway.

Alternatively you could convert those Phanteks to adjustable PWM using one of my custom converters.

The Phanteks converter are ok but don't allow any sort of adjustment.
