Hi

I have a 480 Radiator with 8 fans (4 push, 4 pull) powered via an Antec 1300w PSU.

I'd like to know if I can use splitter cables to reduce 4 fans into 1 connector (I would guess 8 into 1 is a no, no)

The fans are Noise Blocker http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=FG-053-NB
The fans are 3 pin, the splitter's are 2 to 1 (4 pin) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CB-071-AK

Quick answer is yes. I'm running two into one splitters, the total current for 2 fans is about 220mA when up to speed, so 4 is still under an amp. A single Molex is rated at 3A, so no problem with the current rating of the cables.

XSPC do a 4 into 1 molex braided in black with black plugs for about £4 if you can find stock

thanks P4Clock, I'll have a look for those, I bought the 2-1 splitter's without thinking things out, so I'll order some (hopefuly)

the cables are ever cut the right length, each one is 120mm longer than the last so you dont have cables all over the place, its nice and neat
