Fantasy book recommendations

I have read and re-read all of gemmels stuff and he is one of my favourites, he writes brilliant characters and his writing got steadily better with the his last books being some of the best he wrote
same With Feists earlier stuff, riftwar and demonwar as mentioned

Peter Bretts painted man books have been really interesting

I've just picked up the newest 2 Mark Lawrence books as his are always readable, much better than the original trilogy, you can see he has matured as an author much more involved characters and better picture painting.

Terry Brooks - I read 'The Sword of Shannara' well over 25 years ago now and he's added to the tale really well. The novels I enjoyed the most though were those dealing with the World before the nuclear armageddon.

Bernard Cornwell - The Sharpe novels are good, and of course his Last Kingdom series.

Trudi Canavan - The Magician's Apprentice series.

Phillip Pullman - His Dark Materials

Some serious amount of recommendations for me here. Gonna take a few years for me as im not the quickest reader and I sometimes go a week or more without having a chance to read.
But still keep them coming, not just for me but for anyone who comes here to see for themselves :)
