Fantasy Football 09/10

Don't just look at the top half of the league table...

West Ham are playing twice as well, both times at home to Blackburn and Wolves. And seeing as their most expensive player is 5.8mil it's a good idea to allow you to keep the Rooney's in and sideline them for a week :).

Wolves are playing twice as well, and although away are playing Hull and West Ham. Another possibility there. I've already got Craddock so he'll be in the squad.

I'm just gutted Dempsey's out atm!

Ok what the ****? I'm quoting my above post. Have the fixtures changed since then? Wolves and West Ham are no longer playing against each other - where has that fixture gone?!

Edit: On the Fantasy site it's just dumped at the end of the fixtures without a date. Anyone have any ideas why? Was just transferring in two West Ham players unnecessary? :p

Edit 2: It appears Wolves are playing CPR on 2 Feb instead in the FA Cup. Goddammit!!

Thats why you never make any changes to your team until the day of the deadline, preferably about 5 mins before the time deadline so you have a better idea of exactly who's playing, thought everyone did this

Yeah but you need to plan long-term as well to avoid having to pay too much for transfers, it's really annoying as I brought in 3 West Ham players recently expecting them to have a double header coming up.

Have an e-hug to cheer you up :)

OMG.....Ivory Coast is out of the ANC, Drogba back soon, time to get him back...so traded Bent in.

I now have Rooney, Tevez and Drogba at front ! lol

Ashley Cole. Well that's my plan anyway :p

When do you guys reckon Drogba will be back? Hull game on 2nd Feb?

If you don't have him, get him now, his price is bound to go up at least 0.1m with all the transfers.

Besides, Chelsea is playing twice this week, I think he'll play at least 1 of those games, could be twice as SA is only like 2 hours time difference, so there is minimal jetlag as well.

Trying to decide between Ballack and A.Cole for captain this week. Ashley Cole has less chance of getting benched I reckon, but I'd fancy Ballack to get something against Hull and Burnley if I knew he would be playing the full 180mins.

So all in all a typical FF dillemna - know what you would do if you could pick the teams, but dissuaded from it due to fears about what the actual reallife team selections will be.

Thats the problem I have with trying to pick the Man Utd midfield from game to game. You never know who is a definite starter.

Your best bet is to go with Lampard :p

Wow, that is great team. Shouldn't have problem scoring heavily with it over the next GW. Thats if Utd and Arsenal is a 4-4 thriller :D

Currently pondering over whether to put Drogba in, if he will be back and playing in time and what formation to go with. 3-4-3 or 3-5-2.

I'll have to sleep on it :p

Haven't made the transfers yet but my team will likely be:

Screw it. Made the changes as the prices are going up all the time with all the transfers.
