Hi guys

I'm a massive Fantasy Football fan and I watched most of last year's NBA. Can't wait for this season to start.

Does anyone play a fantasy NBA game and is there a free one? It seems all the US based one's charge a decent amount of money.

Ok, ive set up a league on ESPN fantasy Basketball called OCUK Fantasy NBA

There are 19 spaces left
Once the league is full we will sort out the draft

This will be my first season at this so I'll do as much research as I can because these games appear to be far more sophisticated than English Fantasy League!
 
A question...we do the draft etc. I get that.

But it says season length 12 weeks on another league i was looking at in the rules. Does it only last that long or does it last all NBA season?

Edit: The NBA season is pretty short in duration normally but it's longer than 3 months right? :)

Regular Season End Date: April 26, 2012

Playoffs Start Date: April 28, 2012

yeah thats about right, the regular NBA season finishes at the end of April, i think the playoffs start around the 26th season usually ends around the 16th of april (roughly)

plus its only a 66 game regular season this year instead of and 82 game season, aswell as that the games are gona be bunched up more so you will notice games are gona get played more frequently.

This is far more hardcore than Footy FF

Do you all have to be online for that I take it? Or can people set bids before hand?

Kinda, its live but you start off with a budget and you take it in turn of nominating players to get auctioned.

Snake is the Regular one where you take it in turns of picking with a set amount of time, and then you switch orders in the 2nd round so 1st in round one picks last in round 2 etc
