I'd say they're probably on par with each other, although that's just an educated guess based on what I've read etc. I'll post my findings on how they compare to the old CS3s once they're scrubbed in a bit. Being the front tyres on a FWD car if there's a difference it should be detectable, even though the rears are still CS3s.
Cheers, i was under the impression it would be much of a muchness, been keen to try the CS3's for a while so this could be the perfect time to jump onboard and go straight to the 5's.
I drove from the office, 2 miles down the road to the tyre place, then back to the office. Didn't get much of a chance to wash it or test out the grip.
It is indeed a sad day on the motors forum when one starts to show off their new rubber, in a dedicated thread and gets others excited about it I thought mumsnet was bad enough.
